vibration in first
ok, i have a 2000 m6 camaro, basically stock for now. according to the p.o., the clutch was replaced with an "aftermarket" clutch, but it feels like a stock clutch to myself and others. i know my pilot bearing is going out (going by sound), but could this also be the cause of some severe vibration in first gear mainly? if i hold the rpms at 2k or so until rolling, then it is ok, but anything less feels like the car is shaking itself apart. i replaced my transmission mount with the energy poly mount (no shim and ground down the nubs) and that made really no difference. but this only happens when leaving from a dead stop, and below 2k rpms, any ideas?

i doubt its just clutch chatter, like i said, it is pretty bad, like i can hear/feel sh*t rattling in my whole car every time i take off, even my gf is like "wtf is that shaking?!?"

forgot to add, it does it also if i take off in second, but does not do it at low rpm's in any other gear, only from a standstill. and like mentioned earlier, i do have slight vibration from 3k-5k rpms, but i believe that is because on the poly tranny mount, not a clutch problem, i have heard of similar issues with the mount, but the takeoff problem was happening before i changed that out.
