Default Did drill mod and screwed something up big time!

I did the drill mod yesterday, and now the quick disconnect fitting doesnt work anymore. Whenever I pour fluid in the master cylinder, it just pours right out the end of the quick disconnect fitting. Is there any way to fix this, or do I have to take out the master cylinder and replace the whole assembly or what? And any idea what went wrong?

Thanks!

Sounds like you drilled the wrong end of the hose. Did you drill the end that's connected to the master?

did u drill out the right side of the line?...i hope u didnt drill out the quick disconnect fitting side...if u did it right, and it's falling out of the quick disconnect side, try looking at it, u should be able to depress it w/ a screwdriver or something. can u get the fitting back on the slave or no? let us know what u find out

I dont know what happened, I drilled the end connected to the master...but I got fed up with it and just replaced the master cylinder and did the mod again and it worked just fine.

if you stick a small drill bit on that side of the line that connects to the master you can feel the restriction.thats the side suppose to drill.lonslo hit the nail on the head.you drill on the wrong side of the line.lessons learned sometimes we make mistakes.
