Quick Time Performance Inc SFI Bellhousing - REVIEW
I just wanted to post a reply, since this past weekend I installed my Quick Time Performance Inc SFI bellhousing.
I spoke with Grant from Quick Time today.
I recieved a bellhousing from the very first run of bellhousing and ran into a few minor issues.
All issues were minor to me, but I wanted to bring them to Grant's attention. They were well aware of that, and all problems have long since been fixed.
I originally bought a McLeod bellhousing, and it appeared to be junk to me. It weight nearly 40lbs and would have required sever amount of cutting.
Quick Time tips the scales at about 20lbs and fits GREAT.
I would recommend this piece to anybody out there in the market. Feel free to ask questions, I will reply the best I can

I bought mine through D&D
$430? It was about the same as the McLeod
My issues were the bolts were a little short, the the original castings had the reliefs for the throwout bearing backwards
Those have since been fixed in production.

These are now a bolt-in replacement. Mine fits like a glove, but I have an RPM-related vibration with it that goes away with the stock bellhousing. I've purchased a McLeod to see if that resolves it. If so, I'll be getting my money back on the QT.

my mcleod is not what i would expect from a $400+ peice. the rear plate that covers the block simply would not fit on my motor. so its just bolted on like a normal bellhousing. so atleast my feet will be safe but my block will get tore up if i have a failure. i had to do a little triming but not bad really. i did cut the drivers side starter boss though as the headers would not go in or out with it on there.

just did one at the shop last week, only issues we had were the dowel pins were alittle more off then id like but still went in with some caressing and the 2 holes for the clutch bleed and feed were to small so we had to open them up to fit a socket on the bleed screw, and the supplied bolts were also to short for us, so we had to use 2 different ones on the top of the tranny
