Textrilia: What color is the X Grip and what color is the Z grip. I GOT SCAMMED
I GOT SCAMMED
the reason that i am asking is that i bought a brand new z grip from a board member here, it is the Z grip. I looked at textrilia website and saw that both the x and z grip the outter housing is yellow? Are they using the same pic for the advertising or is x grip one color and z grip another color?
The yellow pic is from the web site, and the red one is what i received..
Anyone have any ideas?
Here are the original pics he sent me

My Z-grip I just put in two weeks ago was yellow. I've never seen a red one before. I would just give them a call or send an email. I emailed them with a question and got a response that day. Perhaps you were sent an X-grip. I can't see why they would just change it up randomly.

I've had two OZ700 z grips. Both were yellow. Also, the fingers on the pressure plates don't have those indentations on them.
Pic of my old one, (two years), new one looks the same.

So you where conned by a member?!? That is ridiculous, I would be pissed to if I paid good money for a Tex and did not get it. He had to have known that everyone new they were yellow. Who sold it to you?

That is not a Textralia clutch. Patrick (The Pat WS6) is about to get a lesson in DTPA (Deceptive Trade Practices Act) if he is not careful.
Coming in here and selling that clutch as a Textralia clutch that is most assuredly not our product is a clear violation of Texas' DTPA. As such, the person who purchased the clutch is entitled to sue for 3X the economic damages.
In addition Textralia can also pursue legal action against an individual selling counterfeit goods. I have spoken with our attorney at length about our options, and I would warn anyone who thinks that we're going to allow people to sell fake clutch off our name to be warned that we will pursue them to the fullest extent that the law will allow.

What Is Included Within the "Laundry List" of Acts and Practices Made Illegal by the DTPA?
The DTPA contains a "laundry list" of specific practices that are prohibited. This laundry list is found in section 17.46(b) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code. It contains 25 acts that violate the DTPA and for which consumers may sue, if the consumers relied on the act to their detriment. These twenty-five acts are described on the following pages.
(1) Passing off goods or services as those of another.
It is illegal to advertise or represent goods or services under a different company than the company in which the good or services were made.
