Just opened the package on my new slave from autozone to find that the new spring is much shorter than the old one. Should i be worried?

Also, is the o-ring they supply for the end of the master that pushes into the slave?

what year is the old one you took out? the large o-ring is for the braded hose end from the MC that plugs into the slave. the small one is for the slave fitting (if it didnt come through installed that is).
