I got the tranny bolted up to the bellhousing but i can not get my clutch fork to go on to the preshure plate. Is thier any little secrest to get this fork on. I am using a spec stage 3 clutch and preshurplate. It is square where the clutch fork monunts. Any ideas?????

I'm guessing the car is an LT1 car. The clutch fork is slotted, tou grab the end of it and pull it away from the trans to free teh bearing to remove the tranny. When you install the trans, make sure it is in the "out" position, get the trans in place, look in the hole with a flashlight (if possible) and give it a firm shove towards the throwout bearing, it will slide into the other mounting location and engage the bearing at the same time. It isn't too hard to do, just may take a couple trys. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. Good luck.

I have tried to push it on but it will not go. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> Do you think i should bump the motor and try again?? The through out bearing is square on the preshure plate.(NOT ROUND LIKE THE STOCK ONE). Also i already have the tranny bolted down. Should i unbolt it and move it back at all???

One more question how important or those stupid white straps on the slave cylinder. I already had 1 break. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

well ill give it another try this weekend. ILL RAM THAT ******* FORK ON <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> , ITS HOLDING UP MY HOLE PROJECT!!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> ANY ONE HAVE ANY LAST MINUTE ADVICE????
