Where do you get the DOT 5 fluid for the Cartek Clutch?
I'm having the lazy clutch pedal if I take the car above 4K RPMs with the Cartek Clutch. Dave @ Cartek told me to use DOT 5 fluid in the lines to prevent this from the heat build-up. Where do I get this DOT 5 and should I flush the lines with something before hand to prevent contaminating the new DOT 5 I'll be putting in? Thanks.

It has no chatter at any time and it never slips. It works very well aside from the lazy pedal issue with the hydraulics. Dave @ Cartek told me he ships out the new Cartek Clutches w/DOT 5 now to prevent this.

I've found the best place to reliably find DOT5 fluid is a motorcycle shop. They use DOT5 fluid in a lot of the bikes from the factory. Good luck, Kelly

BMW uses DOT 4. I have never seen DOT 5. Try Napa though. Its my understanding that the LS1 clutch hydraulics do not hold up very well with synthetic fluid.
