Default 1969 camaro t56 swap sbc

I have a 1969 camaro 350 2 piece main with a muncie 4 speed and i want to do a t56 swap, what are my options. would a ls1 or a lt1 t56 trans be better.thanks

With a regular SBC you'll have to do the lt1 t56. It will bolt up to your old small block.

You can use the adapter sold on Ebay along with an LS1 T56 . It allows you to use your factory bellhousing and clutch setup .

i believe quicktime makes a bellhousing to fit an ls1 to an older sbc. if you use an ls1 t56 you have to use there hydrualic setup, if you use an lt1 t56 you can use the older style stuff.
