clutch fluid and other questions
hey guys, im replacing my clutch/slave very soon, and i was trying to get everything i needed
i got some trans fluid, clutch fluid, rear main seal, and a pinion seal
is there anything else i need but have forgotten?
any tips on changing the pinion seal and getting the rear main seal out?
also, i bought valvoline DOT 3&4 synthetic brake fluid.. is this good enough? I have seen people recommend GM brake and clutch fluid, but does it really matter?
this is exactly what i got: http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...egoryCode=3222
also i hear it is a pain to bleed the clutch with a normal bleeder, can it be done, or should i purchase one of those vacuum brake bleeders?
i dont have much $$$'s right now so if it is not a necessity i dont want to buy it.. but i also dont want to be stranded 50 miles from home and paying $500 to get a tow home after my clutch wont release, etc.
thanks.. any any tips would be great, i have already looked at the stickies
