Default ls7 Clutch kit

I need to replace my clutch on my ls2 gto.

Where can I get the ls7 clutch kit for the lowest price? I need the LS7 clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel, flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts, pilot bearing, and alignment tool.

Thanks!

I don't know that price from SDPC is very nice, wish the deal was around when i had a job. Hey tw1nny03 check out the SDPC site, when you search LS7 clutch kit and select it they got all the stuff you need at the bottom.

It really is a good DD clutch. Very simliar to your stock one except built to hugher standards, for a more powerful engine. But it maintains a comparitively light pedal feel and any clutch that doesn't have a "puck" set-up will be smooth driving.

Links to LS7 deals?

I think the LS7 clutch will do fine as a daily driver. I don't have one, but it looks like my slave is going down hill so when i get the money to fix that, i can copefully drop in an LS7 clutch as well.

On SDPC, make sure you add addt'l for the master cylinder $140+.. I been looking at this clutch for quite awhile but the total comes out close to $800 here in Tx with the kit & Master. I'll be ordering mine on Tues or Wed this week

SDPC,

Has the problems with the LS7 pressure plate been worked out?

I have read several threads about them not releasing right and it's either the pressure plate or the disc is warped.

Was this with the first releases? Has this been fixed. There seems to be a lot of people that really love this setup but there are people who hate it too.

Thanks for any input. This is what I am looking at getting this winter when I redo my trans.

So far it seems like a crap shoot.

Jason
