here is my worst-case scenerio bleed procedure.
1. Jack the car up in the front so you can easily slide under it. Make sure you have plenty of extra brake fluid because your going to go through at least half a quart of it in this procedure.
2. Loosen the bleeder and get yourself a hose that will snugly fit onto the end of your bleeder (usually 3/8" or 5/16" ID hose) watch your reservoir so that it does not get empty.
3. In order to beat atmospheric pressure you need to put a couple negative pounds of pressure (vacuum) onto the hose in order for the fluid to come out of the cylinder and into the hose. I use a vacuum pump. If you can get a clear hose for this job this would be very beneficial due to the fact that you can see through it and know when the fluid will be approaching the end of the hose. I like to get myself at least 8 feet of hose so i can be outside from under the car where i can work. When you start to see fluid come out of the hose this is when you stop sucking. In a clear hose situation, you can see the air bubbles coming out. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FRIEND TO FILL THE MASTER WHILE YOUR SUCKING). After a couple of operations of this procedure, you should have all the air out of the system. Close your bleeder off and take your hose off. This can get a bit messy but hey, its a very cheap and sure-fire way to bleed any hydraulic system. If you do not have a vacuum pump, you can use your mouth. I have done it before when burning midnight oil. keep a drink nearby because brake fluid does not taste good and it is very dangerous to swallow!
