Why would you have to drop the steering rack to remove and replace a gauge cluster? Drop the steering column perhaps, but the steering rack? That makes no sense.

That was a typo. I dropped the column.

Whoa! What a beauty! This is posted on the front page, and I'm also going to out it on the official Twitter. Hopefully that'll bring you some more eyeballs. Good luck with the sale!

The price is very high. Blue book is only a little over 9000. I get it because it only has a few miles on it and should be priced more. I just think 29000 is very rich.

Thanks man. Appreciate it. It’s going to be bitter sweet when it sells.

KBB is more for dealers, trade ins, and newer cars. Older cars and classics are decided by the market. I’m sure a 87 grand national with less than a thousand miles would be valued at less than 10k, which we know is WAY off its worth.

Start rolling down that $29K asking price and it will sell. GMMG phase 1/Firehawk low mile cars can be had for your asking price..

Personally, I would have switched the cluster bezel back to camaro prior to posting for sale, given the odometer reading is so critical to your asking price. I mean, 894 miles, but you touched the one thing that enumerates the mileage and left a red flag. Looks like a clean example of the car, but that is highly suspicious.

As others have said, Hemmings would be a more appropriate selling venue. I had a very low mile pewter SS M6. Nearly the twin to your car aside from it having chrome ZR1's. It was a hard sell since Pewter is not typically a highly desired color (I happened to like pewter). I sold mine for 17k and it was a perfect example and belonged in a museum.

Im not worried about it. The original bezel will be going in probably this weekend or when I have time. Everything matches and the new car smell emanates as soon as you open the door. Leather is still soft. The tires have tread and are correctly dated. Half the accessories are still in the original plastic bags.Fully documented with pictures from the day it was bought. Original registration. Original plate. Im in no rush to sell.

I love pewter as well. Matter of fact its my favorite color by far. I originally bought this car to have and DIE in essentially. Which is why I wasnt worried about putting in the t/a bezel. Then I ended up feeling really anxious driving it, given the fact that they will never make it ever again, and felt I was destroying something that should be preserved. Believe it or not after I sell it I will be purchasing another right away. Low mileage but not less than 1000 miles low. That way I can drive a "new" camaro without having that anxious feeling.

I totally understand not wanting to put miles on such a low mile car. I did the same thing, sold the Pewter SS and bought my 17k mile Formula. I drive it 1-2k miles per year and enjoy every second of it!

Odd that there are no engine bay or undercarriage pictures.
Those would go a long way in your ad.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll be sure to take some, probably this weekend.
