Description:

I recently lost my Camaro to a detached garage fire. I was the original owner of the car and it had 10,000 original miles. I have decided not to replace the car with another Camaro at this time, but may go that route if a Formula cannot be found. Fortunately there are many Anniversary Camaro on the market with less than 1,000 miles, so that would be my alternate plan.

At this time, I am looking to replace the car as I rebuild, and figured I would reach out and see if anyone may have a lead on a Formula Firebird. My preference would be for a WS6, however I may entertain the idea of a standard Formula. The ideal car would have a six-speed manual, t-tops, and any color other than white, black or silver. I have been looking at cars with less than 10,000 miles, and would be interested in extremely low mile examples as well.

Please let me know if you have one for sale, or if you know of any leads, and thank you for your time.

Thanks for the replies. I have been watching a few and the Vegas car is beautiful, but I really would prefer T-tops. My car I lost was a stripper hardtop Camaro, which I ordered that way because I was trying to stay within a certain budget.

I would like to go back to 1998-2002 era and purchase the car I would have if money where not as tight back then for my 20-year old self.

thank you again for the leads and your time.

Default Have you found a car yet?

Hello, First, I'm sorry about the fire and losing a very nice car. I know that can be like losing a member of your family to some. I have a few that would devastate me if anything happened to them. I was just wondering if you found a WS6 yet? If not, and I'm sure you've probably had lots of people contact you with a ton of different cars and options than you're looking for, but i have a 2002 Trans Am WS6 Black 6-speed convertible with 55k miles on it. I know you posted you wanted a t-top Formula not black, but don't know how set on that you are. Mine has been garaged it's entire life and never driven in snow or rain. It is in top condition. It does have a few very small road caused paint chips on the nose and 1 on the driver's door. Lots of people say they have a 1 of 1, but I truly do, not that it matters much. There were only 11 convertible Trans Ams made in 02 with a white top, and I have the only black car with a white top, which was special ordered that way to try and keep the sun from cooking the interior when parked. I know this isn't exactly what you posted you were looking for, and I hate being one of those people I mentioned, but let me know what you think and/or if you found one. I am in Ohio so not too far from you. Thanks!
Chuck

Saw this browing Carguru's and remembered your thread. It's been on dealers lot for 3 months so they might be willing to deal since car prices are dropping. More miles than desired but still pretty low.

1998 WS6 Formula - 23,000 miles asking $26,995

Thanks for the continued leads. I had the good fortune to come across a Blackbird Trans Am and could not pass it up. The car is beautiful and although not a Formula, should fill the void from my Camaro.

Thanks to all that provided leads!
