I don't wanna pay to ship a block from you in NZ to USA. Appreciate the offer!

Be careful for new members popping up, trying to sell you stuff. LOTS of scammers these days.

The 2 people that said they have a block are scammers. Imagine that!

I have a few in MN. One untouched standard bore, one fresh machined at 4.005, and one fresh machined at 4.030. I'm just not sure what shipping would cost, haven't shipped a block in a few years. You can PM me if interested.

How set are you on it being aluminum? I have an Iron 6.0 I'd let go for pretty cheap. It definitely needs machine (slight putting from water sitting on the cylinder before teardown) and a line hone but nothing you wouldn't probably already getting done.

why r u going 30 over?
if you have not purchased pistons yet, dont take it out that much.
I just had a 404 built out of a ls2 block but only took it 10 over. Gives me a little more confidence for the future.

Maybe they're going to get it re-sleeved but then again if you're doing that then why not go bigger..

Agreed. Also if you are going to throw sleeves in it, maybe you would go with a cheaper 5.3 block

Probably just stick with the iron 6.0 block I already have. It's not beneficial for me to spend $1000+ on an aluminum block to save 75-90 pounds in a street car. I can remove that weight with the tubular a arms, aluminum heads, composite intake, fiberglass hood, etc.

That iron block has longer sleeves than the aluminum blocks do, so you’ll be better off going iron from a performance standpoint, minus weight of course.
