Description:

ERL 427 Superdeck engine. This is not your average resleeved LS motor. ERL Superdeck engines utilize an internal truss system for increased strength and rigidity along with very thick .250” wall sleeves. This was almost $20k short block new. Includes timing cover, rear cover, ICT billet valley cover, and ARP 1/2” heads studs. C6 Z06 oil pan/pump and ATI damper available separately.

-ERL Superdeck 4-bolt block (GM LSA block)
-Callies Magnum crank
-Callies Ultra billet rods
-Wiesco custom forged pistons (-20cc dish)
-ICT billet valley cover
-Custom turbo grind cam

The short block has approximately 4K miles on it and in good shape. Compression check done prior to removal. Was in a C6 Z06 Corvette. Have videos of the engine running with oil pressure readings for buyer. Cold start oil pressure around 65 psi. Hot idle oil pressure around 50 psi. Wide open throttle redline over 95 psi . Ideally, the motor could use a hone of the cylinder walls. Minor marks but unable to pick up with a fingernail. Priced accordingly.

Located in Rochester, NY. Delivery available on the east coast and midwest.

$7950 Lowered to $7000 and now including the oil pan and ATI super damper.

To the top. Possible partial trades for stock(ish) LS-based motors including 5.3 and 6.0L. Need an engine for my K5 blazer.

Jason, to be clear here, this is a 4.125” bore and a 4” arm assembly? 6.125” rods? Did you plug the oil squirters?

Correct on the specs. Oil squirter holes have been plugged.

any interest in trading for a 5.7 Ls1 out of an 04 GTO? stock, but i have new cams i can include with BTR springs, timing chain, lifters, etc
also have a 430Cu LS6 24x, i have ported heads, don't recall the casting offhand

is your engine 24 or 58xx?
