They'll be racing until the snow flies. Then there's the Hangover Nationals on Jan 1st with snow and all!!!

What kind of shut down do they have there? Can a car shut down from 8.9x@160+?

Unless they fixed it since June, the top 1/8 is pretty rough.

a freind has ran in the mid 150's but the big end is rough. and you have to get on the brakes hard or use the chute.

Dragway 42 will now be open on sunday's [ through the whole month of november] for test and tune and a 100% payback 1/8 mile gamblers race. [Weather permiting] Gates open at 10:00 or 10:30 am with time trials starting at 11:00 am till 5:00 pm. Gamblers race starts at 2:30 pm. Cost is 20 dollars for time trials [car and driver] or 10 dollars to watch. The weather looks good for nov. 2. You can check the web site at www.dragway42.com
