I saw a gmc sonoma. (Same as s10 just gmc) It looked kinda beat up/cheap (definately a winter beater). It's a private owner, I don't know much about it though, I'll go run by it here later tonight and give update. It's down in Charleston, Illinois. Dunno if you interested in that drive or not. About all I can tell ya is it's red haha. Give me an hour or two I'll update.

How much would you be willing to pay for one that already has an LT1 conversion done, slammed, shaved door handle, lots of billet, and other stuff done to it? It needs paint and other stuff to finish it up...if the guy still has it this thing would be killer to have....I almost bought it but Im not a fan of shaved door handles and didnt want to have to spend the money to get it painted.

sounds nice but probably more than what I want to spend. Im not looking to spend more than 1500,MAYBE 2000 for the right truck. id prefer a 94-97 but the earlier body style is cheaper

Don't know if you are intersted in what I was talkin about or not. It said on the sign as of 11/7/08 it was $600 and price goes down $10 a day. It is short bed I don't know what kinda mileage it has on it, looks like it has had rough life by the looks of the body. I'm probably makin it sound worse than it is. I have his cell number if you want it. For the price it seems like a good buy assuming it's in good running condition, especially if you're gonna do a swap next year.

Almost possitive the body style is 94-97 and It is an s10 I didn't get a good look at it before I guess.

2 days ago right here in Indy there was a s-10 (red) that was listed for sale for $2,000.00 and it was CLEAN! IDK if it's still there, or if you'd even want to drive this far to get it. But if your interested, I'll get the number and pm you with it. Thats if you are interested.
Good Luck Man!

ive seen that ad.Its a little more than what I was wanting to spend.I dont need a show truck or anything, just something that isnt too rusty or beat to hell. Some body work or interior work isnt a problem as long as its liveable.I dont want to spend over 1500 so im not looking for anything great, just something to drive and tinker with over the winter to last me until next spring/summer when I buy a house.

For Sale is my 1997 Chevy S10 with 76,*** miles Truck is a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission, With a/c and power steering. 3.73 gears, crank windows, man. locks, and tinted windows. Tons of new parts in the past two years as preventive maintance. Clutch, brakes, fuel pump, radiator and so on. I bought it lowered and changed the rear springs back to stock ZQ8 leafs with lowering blocks. I also changed the rear shocks over to bielstens to get ride of the lower quaility shocks that were on it. The truck has clear front corner turn signals and front markers. Two new factory mirrors changed last night. The sound system has an amp for two subs and an amp for pioneer highs all done before I bought truck. The truck has a painted to match hard fiberglass cover with lock and keys. I installed the wheels back in april. The wheels are 17 inch SLP Hyper Black ZR1 wheels built for 3rd gen f-bodys and S10 trucks. The tires are like new and are sumitomo htrz 245/45/R17 front and rear. Truck has no mechnical or body issues known. Paint has its normal wear but looks great for stock paint at its age. Reason for selling the truck is, Im taking a new job and wont need this as a daily driver anymore. I know Im forgetting stuff so if you have questons pm me for more info

Paint is a 7-10
Interior is a 8-10

Asking $ 4800.00 or O.B.O or trade for Ls1 - lt1 parts and cash
