Default new in dayton

just moved to the dayton area from dallas and i am gonna need some info. where are the local ls1 speed shops, as i will eventually need a dyno tune. where is a good upholstery shop. what clubs in the area (f-body).
i'm building a 73 formula with a forged 408 iron block, p/p 317's, fast 90, nick williams, pacesetters, built 4l60, 3000 stall, agr box, 3:73 true-trac reinforced 10 bolt, all baer, eibach, global west a"s, alston subs and solid mounts. next step will be to redisassemble and paint it prior to final assembly.
also if anyone knows a good job in the area please let me know, i have been an aircraft mech on big birds for 18 years, but figure i can work on most anything, or inspect (qc)
thanx joel

Adkins in Trenton, OH does good interior work at a good price. Here is a link to their site:

Dayton is more of a 5.0 town, most stuff I seem to find for the Camaro is south of Middletown and around Cincinnati.

Forbes says Dayton Ohio is dead or headed that direction.

The OHIO BOYS might also answer this question.

The Dayton Area has a drag strip - Kil Kare - go look up who spends money on their page.
