Bridgeton area by any chance? That area has gone a bit downhill in the years since I moved out of there, largely because of the expansion of one of the shittiest airports in the country. Great reason to devastate a community.

Da Chuck is taking over! BTW my house is the one with the superqueer Mickey Mouse and Yo Gabba Gabba Christmas inflatables on the lawn and the stationary pewter rattletrap in the street out front.

I live in Texas right now but will be moving to the Joplin area after I finish college. It seems like there is a decent car scene in southwest MO.

Not even close to 98%. I'd say about 30% at the maximum. My parents live here and own a business on Range Line that missed getting hit by about 200 yards.

Where is the car scene at on the weekends?

Not sure that I saw that one. I'm at Jungermann and McClay.

Glad they got missed because that thing was nasty! My grandparents got hit by the Bridgeton tornado right before the Joplin one. There house is the yellow house in the top right corner and they missed the really bad damage by 60 yards but have still amassed $200k+ in damages. He has a 3 car garage (with a 1 of 1 Buick) with a wall seperating it from another 2 car garage full of restored classic buicks and an unattached car port that had 1 in it. Luckily, 2 trees folded over the car port claiming his '63 Wildcat.

That sucks!! Looked like a clean classic and now a scrapper . Their business received about the same not including lost business. Fortunately my dad had insurance to cover everything including lost business and employee salaries. I was here the day of the tornado and left about noon headed for Texas. I had just made it back to Texas when it hit. We came right back and helped with search and rescue, being a medic and trained in disaster relief I couldn't stay away.

Eh it's not at the scrapper just yet. We've bought the necessary parts to fix it and we're hoping there's no real underlying damage that we haven't seen yet. I had plans of going with my uncle to help build some houses but it never happened.

Near Park Charles? I'm probably within jogging distance of you, right off of Central School Rd, near Mid Rivers and N. Hunters Point subdivision.

car scene in joplin is damn near dead. Too many idiots drew a lot of police attention and ruined it....several very fast builds going right now though, but they aren't street cars.
