Really, me to..lol back in the summer of 93 in my 71 Challenger R/T. Damn i miss that car, I need to build another. Now im transplanted down here in Houston contemplating going back to Blackwell/Ponca City. Where are you from?

Wow, what a coincidence. I was born in OKC, but graduated high school from Ponca City. We used to make beer runs on a weekly basis just over the kansas border. Get some of that 6pt (and only needed to be 18 at the time). Ahhh...memories...

I would LOVE to move back to OK. But my career keeps me in Houston.

I had a friend in high school that had a green R/T. I think it may be the exact same year as yours. Nice car. Had a six pack on top. Unfortunately, he totaled it. Rolled it 3 times. Too much beer is bad...

Had a challenger in Ponca, or was it a green 69 charger? I knew the guy with the charger, but no other challengers up there that I knew of back when I was in school. Some hot girls dad had a yellow cuda she drove on occasion..lol Damn, talking like this im gonna have to turn the radio up and go act like im "crusing Grand". lol small world isnt it.

Pretty sure it was a Challenger. 340" w/ six pack. Looked like this:



Except it had a vinyl top. It was around '84 when he had the car and cruised around Ponca. Yeah, I "cruised grand" many times, LOL. Nice little drag strip right through there. Got me some drag racing tickets on that street, LOL. Yeah, its a small world. I haven't been back up to Ponca in over 12 years.

oooh god thats beautiful. I have never seen that car, a 71 as well. As for Ponca nothing has changed in the last 12 years except Conoco is shutting down.

im from the tulsa area, there are a lot of f-bodies around here. Lots of cruising/racing on friday/saturday nights.

Thats ok, if theres some racing going on, I've been known too drive a few miles to take someones lunch money.. lol
That and nothing goes on in Ponca except so we used to go to either one of the three during the weekends. Cant wait to get up there and start meeting you all. I knew the Buick club in Ok was pretty big, I'm just glad to hear the LS is as big.
