I think Jason will be running pretty decent this year, and its only a matter of time and money before im right there with him :-) 9 inch and some spray and ill be seeing you at the over 600 rwhp mark my friend....

Well as I stated in my thread on there, I'm sure I was not the first to think up this idea... and as others replied.. I was told there was an event in the past that was somewhat like this...
I just think since LS1Tech is such a major site and LTxTech is getting up and on its' feet that this could be a VERY fun event. Obviously this year is out as it is too short of notice to set up something like this.
Next summer would definitely be ideal and I see that AC is talking about this being a local event in the midwest... which it could more than well be a national event that is occurring in the midwest...
Obviously not everybody is going to agree on a track, but the important thing is the quality of the track/officials/prep. I'm sure both websites would be able to gather a good amount of funds for this event. I'm not in any way going to try and manage this as I have law school to deal with.
But getting the event out there and seeing if there is a good interest base will help out. It would not be difficult for the two sites to coordinate as a lot of the guys on ltxtech are also on here.
