i'm down for this one as well... if need be i already rent Cordova once a year for a full track day. been doing it for 12 yrs now, so i know the owners real well. i could probably get another day there if we need to.

 

Byron returned my email and said they WOULD DO IT!!!! and we just need to pick some dates!!!! This is going to be good!!!!!!
Now we need some sponsors!!!!!!!!!! I told them late summer or fall would work best. I dont want to interfear with the LTX or LSX shootouts.

Yea I'm definitely down for some fall racing. Byron is about a 5 hour drive for me, but you can count me in. Being so late in the year it should give me plenty of time to get any bugs outta my LT1...

so is that the for sure time and place if we could move it over a state or two i know i could get some oklahoma guys to roll in the fall like at mokan or somewhere like that i would love to come throw down with you guys just heading to illinois is not to feasable for some of us but we would meet in missouri

 

I would think about that but we would lose more people by moving the race away from Chicago area than we would gain racers. The pure numbers of cars around here is pretty amazing. We are the 3rd largest city in the US and are within a few hours of alot of states with fast cars. Byron is right on I90 near rockford IL. Lot of easy access for alot of peeps.

 

well thats cool. i was told that they were only going to do the nationals and thats it, no test-n-tunes or anything. bad source i guess.
