Default Purdue guys: wet sanding, results, anyone?

Hey everyone, Just curious if anyone has done this and the results you've had. With that being said, I'd like to get a bunch of guys together some night and try a lil bit on some body panels. I've got a couple scrap panels I can bring to try on.
Anyone?

Nate

Never done wet sanding.

I have done a lot of polishing with a Porter Cable Random Orbital with great results. I was AMAZED at how many scratches and imperfections I was able to get with it.

Here is some results from using a flex (similar style to a PC, but nicer)

and the best example!

most times you can do almost all of the correction without actual wet sanding, and this method is so much safer. Its really hard to mess up your paint with a random orbital.

I work in a body shop and if you buy the materials and get some ppl together I will start to teach the basics on wet and dry sanding. Pm for my number if you want to talk more about this. I have been doing this for 5 years well body work that is so I'm sure I can get you guys on the right track and with a little bit of cash I can give lessons or somethng for those who want to learn this trade more in depth for personal use. Well guys let me know and we will go from there
