Super Chevy Norwalk Anybody go? I went and I have to say I wasn't impressed with the layout or the number of people there. The cars were good, especially the orange ZO6 and the jet car. As far as the car show, the guy with 02 red ss beautiful car. He was the only 98-02 f-body there. I guess I was expecting more of a crowd but then again with the economy the way it is it might be justified. I did my contribution to the event and spent 90 bucks. To all the racers good job and nice cars. Just my opnion, anyone else?

On the show side it was about 1/3 the size of the Pontiac Nationals that's in early August. ...so yes that was pretty disapointing, I expected it to be as big.

One less GTO now. The A-team car is destroyed. Both drivers are ok, but the car is way bad.
We were at the division race when someone called. Then I read on another board, they had some water seeping & they hit it??

Track was done after lunch time... the rain the night before started seaping up through the track and they shut it down to 1/8th mile. I decided not to risk it and was loading my car up when the two cars crashed and one burned.
Track wasn't worth racing on after it started seaping, but since it was a national event I guess they tried to keep it going.
Glad everyone was ok.

hey atomic, badass car man!!! I really enjoyed watching your car. I was sitting in the stands on saturday when you pulled up and I told my girlfriend I think that the guy on ls1tech. She said yeah sure it is, I told her just watch he is going to burn up the track. To her surprise she said holy sh%^ that car is fast. I just looked at her and smiled. I didn't get to see the black zo6 run, how fast was it?

Thanks for the kind words... the black car was dialed back to run the 10.0 index since there isn't a cage in the car (just a roll bar). It ran a best of 9.96@133ish. It has been 9.7x in the 140's though.
