I need ur help chicago
Ok, so we're going to Chicago next week.
We'll be getting there 6/26 (fri) and we'll be leaving 7/01 (wed).
We're huge food freaks & we need to know all the good places to eat.
We'll definitely be attending the Taste of Chicago.
Thanks in advance.

Well....if you are attending the Taste, then there is a bit of everything there w/o having to hunt them out in the city Wear comfy shoes. Early hours are ok but evening hours are best for weather-related reasons.

David Burkes if you dont mind spending some serious cash for a great steak.
Good food in China town, little italy, heart of italy, greek town, pilsen.
Great pizza, and all kinds. Great Lake Pie in Andersonville was rated best pizza in America by GQ- its really good. There are alwasy the stand bys too. Some of the best places are buried and unknown to non natives. What kind of food in particular?

R.J. Grunts just north of downtown. Great food all around and neat atmosphere. Plus, it won't take a hit to your wallet. Best burger I've ever had.

Almost every time I spend a day in the city I hit up J's Dawgs. I can't tell ya' right where it's located, but it's by the Bentley dealership. (How could I forget the cars there, LP640, F430, and the list goes on )
Anyhoo, they have some good old fashion grilled food. Good burgers and dogs, heard their gyro's aren't that great, good grilled chicken, mmm. And all very inexpensive.
And Rob, x2 on Portillos. J's is pretty much the same food except for the pasta.

I've been to David Burkes in VEGAS, best steak I've ever had...$65 for a 16 oz ribeye only (and thats 'cause it was on special that night! lol)...but it was definitely worth it.
I'm gonna google all of these places ya'll are mentioning and try'em all!
Any bars ya'll recommend?
