Default Anyone near Plainfield w/a 99-02 w/a factory stereo/cd changer wana help me out?

So I bought a DIRECT iPOD + AUX INPUT ADAPTER for my 1999 Z28.
Plugged it all up.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...-constant.html

No light comes on the module nor does the ipod show charging. Which tells me no juice is flowing out of my cd/aux connection in the back.

I tried splicing in power to it but still nothing.

Anyone nearby with factory head unit and cd changer that came standard that feel like letting me (or doing it for me) mess with thier car for a few minutes?

If you have ever messed with these things. I can do it in 5 minutes.
Cover comes off, 2 bolts, slide out unit, plug in my converter. done.

I just need to know if it doesn't work so i can get my money back oir if my unit has a fried AUX outlet.

Not sure what to offer you. I wont hurt a thing. You may get to see what a $60 part can do to make an ipod work on our stocker radio
Maybe a ride in my car if yours is stock so you know what a cam does
Or beer or BK, I don't know.

Did it ever have a cd changer?

There is sooo much crap out there about these working under very certain conditions.
Had to have a stock cd changer with radio that has the AUX button.
Then you lose the cd changer to put this in its place.

thank you.

p.s. since i just gave up on my radio, i got it put back together in 60 seconds!!!! lol
