Huge Car show and cruise Lafayette, IN 7/18/09 Calling all cars...
Huge car show next saturday. 7-18-09
2 events in one day.
Mike Raisor Car show 11-4
Dancing in the streets, Downtown Lafayette 4-midnight.
Probably be 250 plus cars show up. There is also cruise in downtown lafayette (around 10 sqaure blocks) where there are lots of people who like to watch, almost like a parade, but much better. To take in the sound of 200 different unique sounds is great. Two streams of traffic as one goes clockwise around the blocks, and the other stream of cars drives counter clockwise. I've seen everything from new Ferrari's, to roadrunners, to panel vans, to custom choppers. It'll be a fun day and a great night.
There will be a few of us making a day of all the events meeting up. Post up if anyone is interested.

A few of us will be out early. meeting up around 8 at burger king on teal road. Very easy to find if anybody would like directions.
First show starts at 11:30, reg. begins around 8:30. We want to get in early and stake some space. If your coming let us know and we'll hold a spot for you. If you enter in the Raisor car show at 11:30, you'll be registered for the dancing in the streets show/cruise in the evening as well.

I might be up there that night to help my lil bro move things out of this apt, i'll let you know if I think I can make it?! It'd be fun to do that then maybe hit campus bars after...

i am sad I can't make it too, I hope someone is there taking pictures.
