When I turned 21 I never had that problem, but know people who did. It comes down to the fact that its a private establishment and they can refuse to serve anyone they want, regardless of if the person can legally drink. Some places, especially some bars downtown wont let people with red licenses in just to simplify their jobs. Prob just get a new one.

.

I had it made, drinking age was 17 with Military ID. I could come home and go where ever I wanted and drink.
Only had an issue one time where the guy didn't know about us military guys.
I stopped drinking when I was 18, so it didn't matter anymore. I do remember shortly before I got out, 23,
they changed it to military guys were subject to the state law they were in.
I know a bunch of the young guys were bitching.

I think it was called EZ ON DOWN... then 50 East (A girl named Jackie owned THE BAR!!)? Hoggs? Kellers in Genoa City? I could buy beer IN HIGH SCHOOL!!! (No... I was NOT a "Super senior")

Ahhhh... the good old days when drinking and driving was a challenge--- not a felony.
