Smile Dyno results from a 2007 Z06 and 2008 Z06

2007 Z06:
Customer already had a Vararam intake installed. 160 degree thermostat installed by us and tuned. Dan checked the fuel trims without a tune and they were acceptable to do a before pull.

2007 Z06 before and after
Picked up 53.65 peak rwhp (over 60 rwhp in the upper rpms)
Picked up 30.60 peak rwtq

Pretty good gains from tuning.

2008 Z06 (same mods)...
Customer already had a Vararam intake installed. 160 degree thermostat installed by us and tuned. Dan checked the fuel trims without a tune and they were acceptable to do a before pull.

2008 Z06 before and after
Picked up 29.37 peak rwhp (over 34 rwhp in the upper rpms)
Picked up 23.35 peak rwtq

Nice results as well.

We generally see the C6 Z06s in the 430-440 rwhp range stock (sometimes lower). The lowest we have seen before this 2007 Z06 was a 2006 Z06 that made 410 rwhp... the 2007 Z06 today started out at 407.97. They usually end up in the 460-470 rwhp range when tuned.

Here is a comparison of the 2007 Z06 and 2008 Z06 after they have been both tuned.

That's awesome! I want one of these cars so bad. Why do the 06's dyno lower?
