Ok, we're here and we bent a valve on our first pass.
We're thrashin to get it back together before qualifying and have everything we need but a head gasket.
If anyone is HERE and has one or knows of a local Memphis shop that can get us one last minute, shoot me a PM asap.

Nope, not one of em!
We ended up heading out to a local GM dealer and picking one up... one of our guys is a regional GM rep and has "connections."
We got er back together and we're ready to hit the track in the morning..

Sweet. If it runs right, it's pretty neat to watch... seems to get a lot of attention...
It's neat to see a truck that was built BEFORE the driver was born in almost it's original trim... with a different powertrain of course, that still looks as good as this one does.
