Does anyone know how long you can put it off until my license gets suspended? I just got my notice and was wondering if I could wait it out until spring?
Thanks

If you're still driving it, you can always get an extension, up to 6 months I beleive.
Or, if the car is in storage, just send in the post car telling them the date it can be tested.

3 months to get it done when u get the notice and 3 more months after u get the final notice soooo yes 6 months total, also theyre not going to suspend ur liscense. they will suspend ur plates. i used to work at the schaumburg emmissions when i was like 18 but they have long closed down. if you JUST got the first notice ur fine until spring. whats wrong with the car by the way??
