Wisconsin people any interest in a spring g2g?
There has been talk in the past about meeting up with other Wisconsin members. I am from Wausau (central), WI. Just seeing if anyone knows of anything going on this spring once the snow is gone. I know of a few members around me and have two buddies with Trans Am's here as well. Let me know if anyone knows of any get together or car shows around for this year or any ideas you may have for one. Also lets get a list of local guys together with a pic of your car and where in Wisconsin your from it would be cool to see whats around. Here is a picture of my car with my buddies Trans Am's
and one of just my car

I'm having a get together in spring! cook out, meet, and go cruise, take pics. A few of my friends have some sick rides. A AMS built Evo, a S-10 with a 408 and a big *** blower w/ 100 shot,( Blower has 3'' belt and 2 carbs) and a few STI's. There will also be a few turbo K20 hatches here. Ya, they move out pretty good for a Honda. We also go to the Hudson's car shows/cruise alot.

I would be interested in a g2g or cruise. Im from Green Bay, and have a lot of friends rolling in some really fast cars. I think we have a bunch of wisconsinstreetdominators members posting in here so far lol. 1gt2nv, you should round up all your buddies with those cars and bring them out to an RSD @ WIR, we could have a friendly Green Bay vs. Woausau shootout. Ive heard you guys in Wausau have a bunch of fast street cars so it might be pretty fun to see what you got. Heres a pic of my car :
p.s. don't be scared of the wheelie, its photoshopped I swear.

Fastgbcamaro: I can get alot of cars/trucks for a little friendly race! Ya, we got lots of fast street cars/trucks in the Wausau area. How you hear about that? The other forum we're on? lol. There's even some very fast Hondas. One guy I'm good friends with has a turbo K20 gutted hatch.

I have some friends that used to cruise out there on the weekends and race. It sounds like the street scene is bigger in Wausau than it is here in GB. We used to have a huge turnout for racing around here, but the cops started kicking us out of parking lot meeting places, and giving out tickets for exhaust or anything else they could find on the cars. I would hate to get embarrased by a Honda, but a gutted, turboed, hatch is no joke. Do the guys you know ever take their cars to the track, or do you guys mainly run on the streets?

I've heard about the cops in the GB/Appleton area. They get you for everything. Ya, a few of the guys go to the track every now and then. Mostly street racing though. We have 4 spots we like to use. Way out there. I just hate it when we drive way out there and there's only like 2 or 3 races. But that's street racing. 90% talk, 10% racing. lol. Whats your car run? There's a build gnx, and a low 10 sec Z/28 I'm sure would run you. They love to race everything. Not sure what the gnx runs though.

The way my car sits right now it goes consistant 10.8's, but I would def. be willing to run just about anyone. I just like racing, even if I might lose. I just have to figure out how to get my car to hook on the street a little better, stock shocks and springs don't help.

I was out last night for a little while looking for some races, but couldn't find any action. I need to get a set of stock rims, so my car stops scaring people lol. Ill be out cruising around this whole week quite a bit with the nice weather. I can't wait for the track to open up, let me know when you guys are having your spring g2g. Just to remind you guys, Beyond Redline is having their dyno days/ open house on May 15th. Should be a good time/ good food. Plus it sounds like a cruise is in order for the evening.

I took the Camaro out to the A&W tonight hoping for a good turnout, but it seems like a lot of guys still have there cars put away. During mid summer on Wednesday nights you will regularly have over 50 cars if its nice, but tonight there were probably only about 10, and most didnt stick around long. I did however put a fox body mustang in its place on my drive home at the end of the night. Silly mustang, didn't stand a chance.
