I got the itch and put the motor in today. The trans should be back Monday and I'll throw that in too. I'm making a list, it looks like there's alot of miscs item to finish up as well.

I know the feeling. I walked out in the garage today determined to get the car fired (plus, the wife needs in the attic which is above the car...). There's only... 1200 stupid things that need done first. Who needs sleep anyway, right?

There is irony to a mod not knowing that.

Here's a few on mine:

The car:

With the old 5.3/turbo setup:

The new forged motor going together:

And installed:

Recent additions:

Custom C4 Dana rear swap:

Finishing up a custom gauge cluster and a full rewire of the chassis/engine currently. Down to the detail work now... unfortunately there are LOTS of details.

Wow, love the staged injectors on the fabricated manifold; nice monkeybars too.

Why the twin injector sets? E85?

Thanks! 165's foul plugs too easy when driving on the street with C16, so I run a two sets of 96's.

Now that's hardcore.

Makes sense though; I've looked at going E85 for my car, just not sure if I really want to spend another grand on more fuel system (bigger injectors + second A1000) and have to deal with finding gas stations.

Congrats!

Mine is (was) finally running on 8 cylinders last night; alternator wasn't charging so I did some circuit tests and now the thing doesn't start. Gotta love cars, right?
