I've been to Speed Inc twice for tuning. The drive sucks but not much we can do living in Iowa. I don't know of a single shop in the state of Iowa that is competent enough to tune LS cars. There are several guys with laptops that call themselves tuners though.

I had mine tuned by Janky Monkey of San Antonio... granted I was living down there, but if you check the HPTuners site, you can find good ones. Frost on there I think does mail orders also. This doesn't get you face-to-face usually though

I've had mine tuned by speed inc twice in chicago. They tune for max hp definately. You might want to give ws6 store in Norwalk,ia a call. They've got a shop that will be up and running in April i'm told.

Wherever you go for tuning, have it tuned for street/drag performance. Dyno tune for numbers doesn't make it useable. Sounds odd I know, but if you can't use it, it's useless. I had a street tune. Dyno for the sake of getting a high number doesn't get it done.

I had mine done at House of Boost in Lenexa, KS. Right south of Kansas City. WS6 Store does have their shop opening up April 1st, at least that is what I hear, same thing OH2LE said. I know that the guy doing the tuning is taking classes for it right now and isn't sure when he will be ready to tune customers cars. This is what I heard from another friend who recently bought some things from them.

A couple of you guys live in Ankeny I see. I recently moved there. I have a red SS with black ZR1's on it. Let me know if you ever see it around!

I took mine to FLP in Il, They did a great driveability tune, my hp numbers aren't the greatest, but even with a Trex cam and a spec 4+ I can drive mine daily.

Contacted speed inc and they will tune it but they aren't interested in tuning it with the meth. Since it is a supercharged application with meth injection I really would like to find someone that is experienced with tuning so someone that is new and just taking classes wouldn't work.

Sounds like House of Boost in Lenexa, KS would be a good place to take it then. They specialize in supercharged applications. They were working on some sick cars when I was down there last summer. Check out their website.

I think they'd be a solid choice.

I wouldn't recommend tuning for meth either, speed inc. is saying that from their expirience.

What happens if meth doesn't come on? That extra timing you had in the file will leave you with a pile of scrap.

Meth should only be used as a safety margin/ intercooling and not for fuel enrichment.
