You should come check out Harrisburg this Sunday (07-11-10). They are paying $1,000 to win in the quicker bracket class that the cars usually run from 5.60 - 7.50 times. They also run a street tire/drag radial class that pays out according to the car count in the class.

Track at Harrisburg is locally owned and operated with every one there just to have some fun, shoot the **** and beat on their cars. The gates open early but the racing doesn't usually getting rolling good unitl around noon. If you come over, you should look me up. I'll be in or around either my 2010 ss or my dads 2001 ss.

Another local track that you can check out is I-57 in Benton, IL, which is right up the road from you. Here is a link to their website http://www.i57dragstrip.com/

Sweet. I'm visiting a friend and trailering my car down to race and cruise in a month or so. Looks like I've got 2 tracks to hit up over the weekend. I-57 isn't too bad of a track. Kind of a PITA to find it.
