I highly recommend Ray Romito @ Romito Racing Engines in Mokena. He does all kinds of engine builds but is doing quite a bit of high power LS builds lately. All of his machine work is in house and can put some killer combos together. His prices are very reasonable as well. Give him a call 708-927-7223

machine work is the biggest hurdle. once you've gotten past that the rest is really just having the specs and taking your time. You could do it yourself if you have a garage and the time. I've been know to put em together...actually I've never paid anyone to build my motors

.
NAC does some good work, nobody makes everyone happy every time.
I prefer FX Engines in Mokena, they are above & beyond good.
Everything from million dollar custom antiques, to freshening Top Fuel engines.
