Default Finally did my battery relocation

It's 90% done.. Just need to fasten down the hotwire, connect the amp, bottle heater and put the battery holder bracket on.. Used a 200 amp circuit breaker VS a 200 amp fuse.. Car cranked right up, curious to see how it does(charging/starting wise) next year when I drive it.. I know without a kill switch and bulkhead it's not NHRA legal, but tech is pretty easy here.. If they catch it, it only takes 10 minutes to swap back to stock...

Seems like a cool project. Have you considered putting something beefier around the hot wire where it bends around sheetmetal? Something like a short piece of fuel hose maybe. I like the tie-downs a lot, they look OEM.

I have a piece of rubber on the sharp edge plus the wire covering... Then with the clamp being right there the wire shouldn't be moving and it's also clamped down throughout the car.. Shouldn't go anywhere... I'll be checking it when I drive it next year to make sure...

It looks good.
Just keep in mind that the battery bracket you used will not pass NHRA rules if you decide to run at the track.. that's unless you tell them about it, and if you have a battery cut off switch in the back, they will be able to tell anyway.

It's a job to do.. I know! Here is mine.

Yep, I posted that in my 1st post. I decided since I was this far, to have a box made and add a kill switch to make it legal.. **** me off to get to the track and fail tech... Mine will be completely hidden in the spare tire area.. Don't want any wires in the t-top area.. Will update when done.. Hopefully a few more weeks..
