My little brother will be home on Monday for a couple of weeks before he has to go to Afganistan. So I am getting his TA all cleaned up and ready for him. I'll probably just go along with him for support and watch him race for his first time.

Good to see some people from the area on here. I'm originally from Niles but now in Cass. I just got an LS1 02 Z28, but have ran my blue 78 Malibu at OC for the last 12 years. The track is hit or miss, better on Sunday's, usually. It does have a speed bump in the far lane.
The Lane Automotive Show does kick *** and it is free to get in and free to park. It is a good time for sure.
I'll be at OC opening day but not with the Malibu or Camaro yet. We will be testing my brothers old Pontiac Tempest out. Totally new combo.

Exactly why I like it, super close, cheap, fun. I recently just moved to Indianapolis, but when I was living with my parents the track is literally 1 minute away. They have a place on Jefferson road along the river. If you ever cruise down Jefferson on a weekend you may see my car out.

Either of you guys working in tire places able to get Mickey Thompsons. I really need some and would be willing to drive to get them rather than have them shipped. No offense to either of you but my mind is already made up on e.t. radials so i am looking for a local dealer preferably that stocks them, if not i can wait. I live in Westville which is near Valparaiso and Michigan City.

I still my my procharged car like crazy. It was by far the funnest car I have ever owned. I tried to buy it back last year but the guy would not sell it.
Lesson learned though. Don't go through a divorce bad enough where you have to sell your toys to pay off your ex-wife.

they are having test and tune this sunday!!! im sure if we get bad weather though it might not happen.... i live like a 2 blocks from the track, i pass it everyday on my way to work and home.
