Cortland, Ohio about half an hour north of Youngstown. I just wanted to let all you guys know about a cruise in and BAR-B-Q we are trying to put together. We have not set a date yet but we are trying for sometime toward the end of July on a Sunday afternoon at Misquito Lake Park in Cortland. If you would, please check out the "Cruise in and BAR-B Q" post in the north eastern region over at camaroz28.com. We are looking for some input on how everyone would like the event arranged.

Samba, how do you like that cam. How much power are you laying down. Im seriously considering a similar setup to yours....stock heads, cam, eventually headers.

I like the 224 cam, great power, nice lumpy idle and it runs pretty well on stock programming too. I originally had a Comp 218/.563/114+4 that was cool, but it sounded too stock. As far as power goes, I have never dynoed the car so I have no idea. I guess I never cared that much for dyno numbers. 
I am actually going through withdrawal for driving it since it has been up on jackstands for 3 weeks now getting the intake and headers put on. (Still waiting for some small parts) Part of my problem is after I get in there and disassemble the front-end off of the motor I just think,
" while I'm in here, I might as well do an LS6 pcv/Rollmaster timing set/delete AC/EGR/AIR too."
I should have it back on the road by mid-July and head to Norwalk to see if I can hit the high 11s.
If you guys ever want to get together, I am game, I just won't have a car for a few more weeks.

Comp Cams 224/224 .563/.563 112+0 with Comp 918s, MTI/Comp chromemoly pushrods and stock retainers. I keep going back and forth over getting TSP's 228/228 .588/.588 112 cam.

All right guys, sorry I disappeared for so long. Well, my SS was smashed into by some idiot running a red light. I got rid of the car and got myself an 03 Cobra. There are still a ton of F-Body guys around my area. Anyone farmiliar with Fairview Park. We will probably be hanging out at my buddies place there either Saturday or Sunday. hello fellow f-body owners! hey guys girls we are located in hudson ohio just south of the turnpike. we are having a BBQ and hang out session at our shop this sunday starting around 2:00. feel free to just show up!! we have a security gate out front that is some times closed but i will try to have it open if not the code to the gate is 5867. the address is 6381 chittenden rd hudson, ohio, 44236 and our # is 330.655.1300. we should have around 20 cars or so showing up as of right now. should be a good time! hope to see you there. thanks, bill & brian

Hey 8SEC30TH, my buddy wants to get his car tuned with you guys. Do you think I will be run out if I show up in a Cobra?

He owns a 01 WS6 that he just put longtubes and true duals on (donated from me from my old SS) and a new cam. Definately needs a tune. will bring him out for sure. Also, I have no problem getting my doors blown off.
