Default Dr. Phil

Anyone in SE MI have contact info for Dr. Phil (Phil Hoefler) or which shop would be best to go though to get some tuning done by him?

Dr Phil is the best tuner in the Midwest! He has my car running good.

I know he comes highly recommended by some, but from what I've personally seen he's far from being the best tuner in the Midwest lol. Everyone has their own opinion, and I respect that, but i have to go off of what I've personally seen

I had Dr Phil do my car last summer. Horrible experience to say the least.

He may be a good tuner but he is a major arrogant assh0le and impossible to deal with.

You get put on a waiting list for months, with no communication whatsoever.

There is no way to contact him direct. You can only leave messages through Jakes Automotive.

Have to leave your car with Jakes for a week, and he gets to it when he feels like it. He comes and goes as he pleases.

After the work is done he won’t be available to discuss or respond to discuss any issues.

If you want t take a small road trip, I had good success with both dynotune Motorsports and Crucial performance, both in Columbus, OH.

Old dead thread, but I pulled a file that Dr Phil did on a car and the car ran like utter ****… and what I found was absolutely disgusting to me, especially knowing this poor guy paid for this tune

The real Dr. Phil is a buffoon and rambling idiot. Why would anybody want to be named after him?

TJ at Baker engineering has a very good reputation in the West Michigan area. People ship cars from California to have him tune them.
