Default Can’t find a shop near Lexington Kentucky to install my headers

I am going with 1 3/4 speed engineering headers, seems like most places here are against it, had one guy tell me that he doesn’t believe in headers and that they cause to many issues even tho I drove a 92 corvette with long tubes for 30k miles no issues. I’m not mechanically inclined, I have a 2000 firebird ws6 anyone know who would work on it ? In the Lexington area I’m willing to travel 70 miles max .

I'm near Etown. Hit me up. We'll talk. It's not hard for me. The only catch to being easy or not is if a manifold bolt breaks. Usually the rear one on drivers side. If it breaks with some stud sticking out, I have a tool for that. If it breaks off flush...well, then it gets a little more in depth and labor intensive. If none break, it's cake. Also, what's your plan/parts for the Y-pipe?

Also, search the Bardstown or Hodgenville area. There's a few shops that will do it. I don't know any names off hand. I do all my own work. But I hear of places/people that do stuff.

Have you tried Race Proven Performance in Harrodsburg? I've never dealt with them but a friend from work has and has no complaints.

Is this your only means of transportation? If not get yourself some jack stands, a floor jack and a set of husky tools. You will have a great sense of accomplishment for yourself when you learn how much it sucks to work on these cars lol
