It's nice to have in an M6, but not worth any measurable ET gains I don't think. Maybe .05 in the quarter. It'll rev quicker and refuce rotating weight, which is a plus. Other than that you'll lose some "off the line" thrust due to the lowered inertia.

Ive also heard its easier on rotating assembly/pressure on rear main and so on I think it would actually hurt your et from lack of mass when you engage it....just something I heard

Fidanza's are nice. I dont know what the do exactly on the LS1 but on my other car i have a 9# Fidanza and its awesome. After you get used to dirving it its sweet. It revs a lot quicker and you feel the most snap in 1st and 2nd gear. It takes a lot to learn how ot launch a car with a flywheel that light. You have to be very careful for wheelhop. It takes more feathering the clutch. But overall i think that are a good mod. Your not going to gain major time with one but they are fun.Especially in 1st.

They are a great road piece, but not for drag. With less inertia you will have to launch harder and feather the clutch. This will cause the clutch to go early. Not to mention chatter. If you are planning on dragging it, go with a steel piece.
