just for anyone that wants to know....
3rd Annual Kentucky Thoroughbred's Horses and Horse Power Car Show
May 19, 2007
S pring is almost here and it's car show time, time for us to show off the work we've done this winter. It's time for the 3rd Annual Kentucky Thoroughbred's Horses and Horse Power Car Show at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 19, 2007.
If your car club is like most, you already do a car cruise, shine & show, or a full-blown car show to raise money for a charity. You know how much work goes into such an event and seldom do you get to enjoy your own event. We have a unique proposal and opportunity for your car club. One, help sponsor a car show where no work is required of you or any of your members. Just come and enjoy the day. Two, your club will be listed as a co-sponsor with signage and recognition at the show. Three, your club will be prominently displayed as a co-sponsor on the Horses and Horse Power Car Show (horsesandhorsepower.org ), Pat Gorman Charitable Foundation ( patgormancharities.org ), and Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (pcaky.org ) websites including links to your clubs homepage, if desired. Four, the satisfaction that you helped raise over $15,000 to help end child abuse in Kentucky.
What's the catch? Only one. You need to pre-register five cars by Thursday, May 10, 2007. This is the 3rd year of our show and each year it has gotten bigger and better, with last year's show presenting over 40 awards!
In addition to the show awards we will still have lots of door prizes and cash prizes. Lunch is still free, featuring Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs and Swift and Company brats. For those who pre-register this year, you wil be eligible for an additional special cash drawing.
Last year together we raised over $11,000 for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky! We hope you will attend and also spread the word to your friends and relatives.
Click here to print a registration form, also visit our website horsesandhorsepower.org for flyers and pictures of last years show, you may see some of your friends cars posted.
Hope to see you on May 19, 2007 at the Horse Park in Lexington.
Sincerely,
2006 Special Interest Winner
Gary K. Best,
Event Volunteer
P.S. Pre-registered cars are eligible for a special $150 cash drawing.

Vette was overheating and had to stay under 2000rpm, Z went out with problems, everybody got confused and thought our car was a lap behind but she wasn't, Clarence (challenger) came in for gas because he thought he had a lap and she caught him at the last minute and beat him by like a length and a half, she had gotten tangled with another car and bent the pass tie rod in an L-shape, had about 2 inches of toe-in and could barely turn the car the whole race but still did it! It was a great show. I think they're replaying it on saturday, sunday, and wednesday (check local listings).

I watched that show last night. Had no idea that the mustang team was from Indiana. Congrats on the win!
I'm a chevy guy so I was pulling for Lou and the Vette. But glad to see a V8 win the competition though.

Thanx, muncie. Brandt, they're talking about a second season but nothing confirmed yet as far as I know, a couple teams have expressed interest in taking LS1 f-bodies next time though. I've tried to convince my boss to rod out my car and use it, but he's got his mind made up about the next car already. Maybe if there's a season 3, lol
