Probably a good idea to look up Mark Bowler out of Lawrenceville IL to put your trans nightmare to rest.

I don't care who it is you will never be able to build a bullet proof 4l60e that you can rip on anytime. I have seen them last for a while but not like the 4l80e's do.

It has to be from the Stall / Tranny Cooler or Shift kit. Now, I don't know. But I'm gonna have to talk to Bob, and see if he has any ideas. Either way there is zero money for me to fix this for a LONG *** time.

So long story short, Car is DEAD untill prolly next summer being honest.
Rodney at RPM showed me what happens if you get on it in overdrive. Rodney explained that is where he sees most failures result from. Basically you have tow items spinning at waay different speeds when in overdrive, and when you jump on it and it downshifts, these two items get slammed together to mesh up. It is better to drop it into 3rd gear before going wide open throttle.
This could be what is happening, or else the transmissions line pressure is off.

Knock on wood... We're swamped right now, it's going very well. I've been here at the shop every night until at least 7:00, Tuesday night I was here until 8:00. We're also trying to get me orange Z28 ready for the Memphis LSX shootout, we're doing a 480 with an ATI ProCharger F1A.

Thanks for asking. Bob

Good to hear that you're still at it. The car sounds like it's gonna be badass.
