Maybe...all depends on what it is...but is it really YOUR project car if all you do to it is paint?
On the other hand, if it's all ready-to-go and has some of the things you were planning on doing already done...depending on what you were wanting to do, you may spend more than $4500 on a build and not have what's there. More details, pleeze
Why can't you do paint? A budget thing, or a location thing? Just curious.

The car is, from what I've been told, basically done with a primer paint job. Nothing special about it. I guess it could still be a project if I wanted to change something, but why pay extra to start with a complete car then? I was hoping to have a driver by about $5k, finish the rest and make it "look good"/"go fast" when i get out of college.
My dad's friend owns the car, and he know the history behind it, quality of work, etc. which is one reason it might be a good idea to get it. Supposed to come with a straight 6 was well as a V8, but auto trans . Not really sure it's what I want, even though I still look at ad's of incomplete Nova's of the same year.

It would be cool to meet more people with LS1 F-bodies. I have grown up around 350 small block chevys, so im basically clueless when it comes to newer style motors and fuel injection. I would be down to come out and chill with you guys just let me know and i'll see if im working or not
