Well, I ordered some skinnys and et streets (same size at rear as stock) Thursday. I get a call today from them claiming that the front tires have been discontinued and they just know found out. Then I asked on the 3 other tires and they said they didn't have but yet the website says it will ship on the 6th.

So now, I need to find somewhere else that sells 215/60/16 or something that will fit 16"x7" wheels. But I probably can't buy till the stupid refund goes through which will push it back another week.

 

So your mad at summit that one of their suppliers discontinued a product?

 

Well it's not that hard to remove it.

They didn't have 3 other tires that they listed that they had. Now it's gonna cost me another week till to have some front tires.

 

I am not sure what you are so upset at here......they are refunding your money because they found an error in their system. They could have just sat on it for a couple more weeks and then you would have had to wait a month to get some tires.

You are calling the 215/60/16 skinneys? I did a quick google search and it seems like you can buy that size pretty much any where....

Colton... Honestly if you want a cheap wide and skinny setup do like I did.. Summit drag wheels. You pick the style u like. They are 15x8 and 15x4.. They're under $450 shipped to ur door. And with tires all the way around it's under a $1k. My fronts are like 185/?/15.

Well I wanted them there by Friday. Theres no telling when that refund will come through also. I can't buy tires from anywhere else until I get my next paycheck or I get the refund. I would be more pissed if that happened.

Well they are skinner and easier to call it that. I know its not all too skinny but they fit and I don't need to anything else but mount them on Fridays.

I might take my chances with buying some used ones eBay. But again, I can't do anything until I get my refund.

Mine was just over $1k with shipping and a line lock. I got me Mickey Thompson's for the back.

 

Colton- I wanna add this. I know u want to mod. But with a tight budget, while also running your DD car alot now. Make sure your ready if ur rearend pops. Just giving u some real world advice that I've went through myself. Either that or make sure you have funding for the car or something else to drive, ( maybe I should use this advice myself lol )

I just want to see you in bad spot like I'm in. I haven't driven my car in over a month due to lack of preparation as always haha.

Yeah. I don't have funds to cover that yet but I do have my Grandpa's truck I can drive until then like I did when my tranny went out. I guess I can put it on a credit if I have too but I really don't won't to waste the money on intrest.
