The Mystic has never had a front plate and it NEVER will. There's no holes there for a bracket anyway and I am most certainly not going to drill any. I really don't care how many tickets i get. In my book $75 is cheaper than $500 for a new front bumper and another $650 for one pint of paint!!

Exactly. I really don't see the whole point of having to have a front plate. It really should be optional, because for some cars, especially sporty ones, they really make the front end look like ****.

And honestly, what the hell is the cop gonna see when he pulls you over to run your tags? THE REAR PLATE!! So why the hell are we "forced" to have a front one? Oh, that's right: anything for our money to be given to the gov't.

Well I still have my KS plates on my car. I do have a front plate representing my old college, but sure looks better than IA, IL plates. Sucks to be you guys. Sorry to rub it in.

Got t-boned today and looks to be totaled.
Well atleast I only had a few thousand in it.
maybe we could find a fox shell and bring this beast back to life. How is the car comming? Did you find the problem with it, I want to check out the progress. I have to do a wedding all weekend so my progress on the lt5 (zr1 corvette powered) s-10 is on hold.

Hey Chris you want to have a little friendly race. This time from a light so we can both go at the same time. I've got my Comps mounted on my other rims so i'll have traction finally. I'm all tuned and set if you wanna run em. I wouldn't mind showin all those people who think 03/04s are slow that it is entirely UNTRUE!!!

Alot of people around town here have been saying that 03/04s are slow. I hear it from time to time. I don't think alot of them know that stock they run in the 12.6-12.8 range with a decent driver and some even down into the 12.3-4 range bone stock. With just a pulley, A/M catback,A/M midpipe, and CAI with a decent tune puts these cars into the mid to high 11's depending on the tune. Add a small shot to it and your in the 10's. I just don't see how exactly that is not a fast car!?? Alot of people see me spinning and because i'm not moving foward they assume my car is slow. But with dead hook traction I think alot of people will think differently.

I like terminators, cool cars.I have seen them at cordova from 13.2X stock to low 12's modded.I know last year there was 2 there at the same time running 12.2X ET's with near 120 mph with spray and unknown mods, they just had real soft launches keeping them from 11's.

Really? I didn't know there were any other sprayed 03/04's around. It's cool though i didn't expect to be like a trend setter or anything i just didn't know there was any other pretty quick ones around besides the KB'd black vert i have seen maybe a handful of times. My tuner thinks i should be down into the low 11's off spray and around 10.60-10.70 on spray now (with slicks and a HARD launch of course) I just heard there were alot of people saying bad things about these cars and mine included when i hadn't really raced anyone yet (well besides Ben) I'm just looking to stop the bad talking. These cars have got real potential, I just think alot of people don't care to acknowledge that. I don't see why everyone can't stop saying things about everyone else. I love my Cobra and won't get rid of it. But, had i not gotten it when i did I very well may have gotten a LS1 car. I have respect for all cars that someone spends there time on making fast (well almost, Neon )

Ryan, I think some of it is ignorance some of it is the fact alot of people cant drive them(stock cobras) into the 12's on street tires. I too like the 03/04 cobras. I wish I had a eaton from the factory.

I must have missed your best run at midnight mayhem. I remember you said you went went 117 with a 2.4X 60' on your first run(I think) and I watched you make another run toward the end against an old nova or something but I thought you shut it down and rolled through the traps.

I guess we can line them up (only at Cordova though, because I'm known for being a cop-magnet although I rarely street race... Jamie knows lol), but only to shut up the non-believers, and only a FRIENDLY race because I know your car can and will destroy mine lol.

But anyways, I'm certainly not one of the people who think blown Cobras are slow. That's just plain ignorance or lack of knowledge for those who do think that. Just like you said, a lack of traction does NOT equal a slow car.
