My father-in-law has an X-type. He had an older XJ6 before that. Any reason why you're asking?

My buddy who currently has a GTO has/had (don't remember) an XJ6 and an XJ12. Horrible POS's. They were crap. Electrical systems could have been put togeather better by a three year old. I hated working on those...he fried his alternator and damn that was just a bitch, let alone the price Jag quoted him on a replacement alternator.

My father in law has a 1983 Sedan and would consider buying some stock wheels, he has those rare wire ones on there.

A while back I helped put a BBC in a XJ12. There are kits & everything, it was quite the project though. It comes w/ a T-400 OE so it was ready to go. That thing moved out pretty good.
Now Jag is owned by Ford, lots has changed since the old days.
