Default RSD at WIR July 1

I finally plan to make it with the Caprice it will be red with blue fenders and front bumper and a silver hood, come over and say hi. If any of you have stockish cars this thing should make for a close race for a few more weeks till my next round of mods arrives.

Default Ill be there

I will definately be there. I will keep my eye out for you. Ill be in my silver Z. There are always a few silver Z28's with silver ZR1s at RSD, but I think that mine is the only one with the stull billet grill.

Any of you know anything about the black TA I beat last night? Not trying to rip on anyone or anything very likely my car is more modded, just would like to know what was done to it. I didn't get him by a lot as I could not see him in the mirrors.
I ran 13.9-14.2 depending on launch 60s were 1.9-2.2(oops).
The car I was most impressed by was that little stock looking Echo we were laughing when it pulled in but then it looked fast, caught the guy at the end of the night and he said 14.2 with a low boost turbo on a Celica engine, the swap looked clean too. That car is not exactly my think but I can appreciate the effort and quality of workmanship and his results. I am sure a lot of guys laugh when they see my cars pull in too.

Dont know the black TA.
My rear control arms came in late and by the time I had them in it was almost 5 and there was stop and go traffic on 41 from Oshkosh so I called it quits.
Forgot it was 4th of July weekend.
Do they still do test n tune on Wednesdays?
Otherwise I should be there on the 29th test n tune.
I need to work on my launch times. Im an old man, my footwork is slow.

They quit the wednesday nights due to poor attendance. The poor attendance was caused by calling a lot of them import nights though. There aren't that many import racers around so few of them showed and the thought of imports turned away the real customer base on those nights. Last night the waits were long and there were too many oildowns, I really liked the wednesday night stuff better. On the RSD nights they try hard as they can to discourage test and tune which is exactly what 3/4ths of the cars are there for and they make you sit and sit.

It is a bracket racing for high school kids, the Beat the Heat guys usually show up too to help get kids interested. One officer should be introducing an LT1 powered car soon too. Hopefully by the 29th I have my headers and can start beating up on more ponycars .

I got another 13second slip before the track got REALLY BAD. Even pedalling it on some borrowed DOT semi stickies I had 60s as bad as 2.4, first run was a 1.9
