There is also dean at DRC transmissions he has done these trannys to.He bulids alot of drag stuff and i know he builds trannys for some of the local sponsors.I never used him so i don't know how good his stuff really is.I think you would be very happy with a FLP.When you start running mid to low 10's then i would start to consider and tranny swap

Thanks for the info Mike.
I will keep all this stuff in mind one I pull the tranny. I just havent had time to pull it yet. I am going to mess with some stuff today and see if I can figure out exactly what is causing it not to shift and go into limp mode.

I was told by a few trans guys that it is most likely not the converter...
Maybe a solenoid or a fluid leaking out of the breather( only thing is when i was under the car I did not see any fluid anywhere)

If it was a shift solenoid more than likely the ses light would be on.I think you just beat the hairs off that tranny. Check it out i would like to know what you tore up.

I went 11.02-11.20 with my FLP level IV 4L60E for two years without any problems. I also sprayed that trans when the car was h/c/wet nitrous and it took a handful of passes no problem.

Well I still have an SES light from my cam swap so I wouldnt have noticed any new codes being thrown.
I also do not have a scanner and only having first gear I cant really drive teh car to autozone do have it scanned.

Trans is smoked
I drove the car around the block to check stuff out and whn I checked the fluid it smelled burnt and started to get dark...
so I am going to have it rebuilt.
I just picked up a new fudddle converter to put in when when I put her back together...

Hey anybody that lives close to me(Hanover Park) have a scanner?
My tranny guy wants me to scan my car before I pull the tranny.
I only have first gear so I can't make it to autozone and have them scan it.
